Penetration Testing
This project scratched the surface of penetration testing. Using tools such as Docker images, Nmap, and Metasploit; I was purposefully trying to gain access to a vulnerable system.
DIY Malware
After exploring test virus files and seeing how they’re detected, I was able to take it one step further. In this project, I took a peek behind the curtain to see how virus files are actually created. I even used MSFVenom to create my own and testing them against virus scanners and VirusTotal to see if I can evade detection.
Threat Analysis
In this project, I performed threat analysis on 5 different websites. Using OSINT tools, to gather data and then analyzing the potential vulnerabilities returned. I then tried my hand at creating a script to automate the process.
